Quality Assurance and Testing

Quality Assurance (QA) begins during project initiation. A clearly defined scope, objectives, and vision of the system & project provides a quality baseline for what the project needs to achieve.

Test results are dependent on the quality of deliverables throughout the project, including:

• Project definition

• Requirements Gathering

• Build, enhancement, or configuration (of system and interfaces)

Our testing approach is business process driven. If the system does not work for the entire business process, then the system is not meeting the quality required for the business. To us, end-to-end testing does not mean end-to-end review of the software, but it means end-to-end review of the business processes it impacts.

We recognize that the typical levels of testing must include and go beyond a system perspective. Testing also depends on the manual parts of the process. For example, to do unit testing, the ability to have the “right” inputs must be in place.

Analyzing the business processes helps to identify the non-functional testing requirements, such as volume testing, performance testing, load testing, usability testing, and hardware compatibility testing (including mobile).
